Arts at the Waelderhaus announces 2018 Season

KOHLER, WIS. – February 7, 2018 – Arts at the Waelderhaus, a series of intimate performances at the historic “house in the woods” will present five programs in 2018.

Sunday, March 4, 2018 – 2:00 p.m.  Instrumentalists from the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra will perform chamber music by Milwaukee composers Craig Peaslee and Mark Mantel.

Sunday, April 15, 2018 – 2:00 p.m. Plymouth Junge Kameraden Band, the only high school Blaskapelle in the U.S. will play German favorites. 

Sunday, May 6, 2018 – 2:00 p.m. Soprano soloist Elizabeth Gartman, a graduate of Sheboygan North High School and Ruth DeYoung Kohler Scholarship winner now attending the University of Illinois, will premiere some of her new work.  

Sunday, June 10, 2018 – 2:00 p.m. The Alpine Echoes, eight players from Portage, Indiana’s German Band will play on Alphorns, long wooden horns popular in Europe’s Alpine region.  

Sunday, September 16, 2018 – 2:00 p.m. Wind instrumentalists from the Sheboygan Pops Band will perform both popular and classical favorites from their repertoire.

Reservations are encouraged due to limited capacity, however no tickets are necessary. Call the Waelderhaus at 920-453-2851 to reserve your seat, or email kohlerfoundation@kohler.com.
