Siegl Miniature Circus

In 1998, the Siegl Miniature Circus was acquired by Kohler Foundation. After careful conservation treatment with each small figure and piece cleaned and restored and the mechanics in order, the Circus was gifted to Above and Beyond Children’s Museum in Sheboygan, WI where it remains to the delight of children and adults. The 1,500-piece, three-ring miniature circus was created over almost four decades by local woodcarver James Siegl. Siegl spent nearly 30,000 hours and each character is hand-carved and hand-painted with amazing detail.

Kohler Foundation gifted the Siegl Circus in late 1998.
