Boroff Glass Goblet Collection
The Boroff Glass Goblet collection showcases several exemplary hand blown glass forms. Some are beautiful yet practical, others expand on traditional form with artistic views. While KFI has saved art environments literally in front of the bulldozer, this is the first time we were called in to save a collection of impressive glass goblets. Nationally known collector, Barbara Boroff, was nearly out of time to find a home for a precious collection—widowed and about to move, she needed to move the glass from her apartment. With only a few days lead time, we arranged packing and shipping to Racine, where we documented and photographed the 113 glass pieces, arranged for conservation, and proceeded to gift to the Racine Art Museum.
